Our Ethos

Ethical British Timber is more than just a sawmill. Of course, we pride ourselves on our technical skill and knowledge of trees and timber. But our directors are also artisan makers and so bring that love of wood and a makers mindset to everything we do.

Whether it is maximising timber when milling felled trees, delivering the best local firewood or encouraging tree health through arboriculture, we know quality work can extend the life cycle of standing trees and the use-value thereafter.
